Ryan Mouton said that the release of their starting returner Mark Jones was:
"shocking, but the coaches must have confidence that if I return I'll get the job done." (TEN)
TEN Note: "Mouton missed the final three games of the preseason because of a high ankle sprain. The cornerback is back at practice, although his status for Thursday is still in question."
About how he's trying to get healthy enough to play in their regular season opener, Mouton said:
"I'm really just trying to get in there and see where I'm at right now. I'm feeling good. But I guess we'll just have to wait until game day to see where I'm going to play." (TEN)
