About how his teammates used to ask him why he was so happy to be practicing, Blaze said:
"It is because I look at being out here as a blessing. You don't know how much you miss something until you have it taken away." (HA)
About seeing Fonoti go down with an injury in practice yesterday, Blaze said:
"It flashed back for me. I was just thinking that was me right there. It can go at any time." (HA)
About how he feels fortunate that he is healthy this year and can play for UH, Blaze said:
"I just feel so fortunate, so blessed to have (a senior) season. I'm going all out. I'm gonna bring it 'cause there are only so many guys that get to play Division I football each year. And, I get to represent the state of Hawai'i. I'm one lucky person." (HA)
