"I'm like, 'Hello? It's me. People forget I have short hair now." (HSA)
About how their slot receivers get all the attention due to their higher stats, Pollard said:
"I have no problem with it at all. We work as a unit. We all help each other get open. We all get (passes). There's no reason to be selfish, to be the lead singer." (HSA)
About how he often gets open because Pollard runs routes that draw away an extra defender, Greg Salas said:
"Royce does a lot for us." (HSA)
About how Pollard unselfishly serves as a decoy on plays, Rolo said:
"We don't use the word 'decoy.' We say everybody has a job to do. Being unselfish is part of the offense. He takes it to heart, and he understands, and he sees the results." (HSA)
About how he "tweaked" a hamstring because he ran full speed every play in the La Tech game when Pilares and Salas had 28 catches, Pollard said:

About playing just about every snap despite his painful hamstring, Pollard said:
"I was raised to fight through pain and aches and never show weakness. I like to go until I can't go anymore. The hard-work ethic is in me." (HSA)
About how Pollard is fearless on inside screens and crossing patterns, Rolo said:

About how he and his father decided to donate their hair to Locks of Love on his 21st birthday this past June, Pollard said:
