Mac says that the Warrior defense did not do its job in the second half of the UNLV game

KHNL Note: "He feels if his defense had performed better in some areas they could still be undefeated."

About how the defense did not allow their offense to get on the field in the second half and allowed too many 3rd down conversions, Mac said:
"Our job on defense is to get the offense on the football field, and their offense controlled the third quarter and kept our offense off the field, to get 'em off the field, we need to do what we did in the first half, we had two interceptions, and then three downs are key. They were 10-16 and that was a big key in the ball game." (KHNL)
