Fresno Bee article about UH's schedule

About their schedule earlier this year, JJ said:
"Around the country, maybe we're not getting credit. But I think that'll change if we don't look ahead and ... keep winning." (Fresno Bee)

Confident that UH will make it into the BCS if they go undefeated, Karl Benson said:
"History shows a team outside the guaranteed BCS conferences [that] goes undefeated will get in the top 12. And I am convinced that despite Hawaii's strength of schedule component, they will get to 12." (FB)

About their critics, Colt said:
"There are just so many naysayers and doubters out there." (FB)

About their final stretch of games, Colt said:
"These are the four best teams we'll play all year. It's going to be a grind. It's not going to be easy. And we understand that. We realize if we can be perfect for four weeks, we will have done something that no one ever imagined could be done at Hawaii." (FB)

About how their run is important for all non-BCS conference teams, Colt said:
"If we continue to have these mid-majors rise up, it maybe evens the playing field as far as how teams get ranked. That's why it's important, not just to the WAC and us, but to all the mid-majors and all the small schools out there who deserve to be ranked higher. It'd be great if we had that opportunity and have a chance to prove a lot of people wrong." (FB)
