Feature on Aaron Brown getting the first 2 interceptions of his D-IA career against SJSU

About how he didn't get an interception before the SJSU game, Aaron Brown said:
"I probably could have had, like, five (interceptions), but I dropped a few. You have to forget about them and wait for the next one to come your way." (HSA)

About how he works on interception drills with Rich Miano before every game, Brown said:
"He's always throwing the ball around. His passes come in fast. I have to be ready. I have to keep my eye on it, stay focused." (HSA)

About how the defensive players started playing a game after Friday's practice was over, Corey Paredes said:
"We were throwing the ball around, and then all of a sudden, we were playing dodgeball. We were slinging the ball at each other, working the hands. It just happened." (HSA)

About the game, Brown said:
"Dodgeball with footballs. They were being thrown pretty fast. A lot of the time I was trying to get out of the way. But when I had a chance to catch it, it really helped my hands." (HSA)

Asked who won the dodgeball game, Brown said:
"Nobody really won. We were trying to hit each other as hard as we could with the ball." (HSA)

About how Brown plays physically, Miano said:
"He's physical. He plays fast. He plays hard. He's tough. Look at his stitches." (HSA)

About how his scar tissue under his right eye will be removed and the area re-stitched in January, Brown said:
"They want to make it cleaner." (HSA)

About how he was recruited as a safety and moved to LB in less than a month after he started at UH, Dave Aranda said:
"He grew into it. When he was a safety, he basically played the linebacker spot he's playing now. He feels at home." (HSA)

About how they put Brown on the RB or a pass-catching TE, Aranda said:
"We like those matchups." (HSA)

About Brown's first INT, where his job was to defend the first receiver to run a crossing pattern, Miano said:
"He read it perfectly." (HSA)

About Brown's second INT, where he faked that he was defending the flat (releasing the receiver to the CB's coverage) and dropped back to track the second receiver, Miano said:
"The quarterback threw it right to him." (HSA)

About what he had to do when the QB threw the ball to him, Brown said:
"Catch the ball. I concentrated on that." (HSA)

About Brown getting his first 2 INTs, Paredes said:
"A.B. has been saving it up. He dropped some balls before. Now he's taking them to the house." (HSA)
