Feature on Ryan Grice-Mullen with the Saskatchewan Roughriders
RLP = Regina Leader-Post
Asked about his memories of playing at Mosaic Stadium (RGM dropped a pass late in the game that would have been the game-winning TD), Ryan Grice-Mullen (RGM) said:
"That's a tricky question. I don't have no memories (of playing at Mosaic Stadium)." (RLP)
About how RGM will be a threat for their special teams, special teams co-ordinator Jim Daley said:
"He has an explosive burst to him and I think he gives you, as he gets familiar with things, a real threat in a return game." (RLP)
About how RGM will help their special teams play, DB Lance Frazier said:
"He makes an impact on special teams, which we really need. He's replacing a guy who was supposed to be the guy (Dominique Dorsey), so I'm sure he has something to prove. He's a threat and he can blow the top off the defence." (RLP)
Looking forward to using RGM as soon as possible, Daley said:
"He certainly is a guy we're very interested in taking a look at as soon as possible, whether that's a week away or this week. It all depends on certain factors." (RLP)
About using Weston Dressler as their primary punt returner right now, one of their more reliable weapons on offense, head coach Ken Miller said:
"We haven't been getting him a lot of touches in our regular offence and (returning punts) is an opportunity for him to make some plays. It's another opportunity for him to add to the team." (RLP)
About how he had injury problems during his time with the Dolphins but he's fine now, RGM said:
"I felt pretty good today. I had to get out a few of the bugs and a little rust, but it's nothing too bad that I can't handle. I feel good, ready to go." (RLP)
