UH was the *only* team to earn less than $1 million from the WAC this year

HSA Note: "UH, which received $950,796, was the only school earning less than $1 million when checks went out Wednesday, the final day of the fiscal year, according to figures from the conference office. It was the second-largest payout in WAC history, $13,203,996, thanks to Boise State's appearance in the Bowl Championship Series."

HSA Note: "UH received the minimum $60,000 payout from the WAC basketball tournament because its men's team did not qualify and its women's team lost its first game. Schools earn additional shares for each WAC tournament victory. In addition, teams reaching the NCAA tournament, such as Utah State and New Mexico State, receive an additional $100,000. Fresno State, Nevada and Idaho each received $375,000 for their bowl appearances. UH went 6-7 and was not bowl eligible, opening the way for Nevada's participation in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl."
