About OT Kainoa LaCount carted off the practice field with ice on his left knee, resulting in his ending practice about 10 minutes early, Mack said:

HSB Note: "The injury occurred in an 11-on-11 period in which players were instructed to "stay up" after the initial contact and McMackin became concerned with the number of players going to the turf. Sophomore Levi Legay moved into LaCount's spot at right tackle for the last few plays of the practice."
