True freshman Cayman Shutter took reps with the first team offense today

About getting reps with the first team offense, Cayman Shutter said:
"I definitely wasn't expecting it. I was buckling up my straps going into the huddle." (HSB)

Praising the progress that Shutter has made this year, QB coach Nick Rolovich said:
"Cayman's done a nice job as far as learning the stuff. We just wanted to see him in a little live action." (HSB)

Note: This seems to indicate that Shutter is ahead of the other two true freshmen QBs (Corey Nielsen and David Graves).
