UH schedule updates on USC, Charleston Southern

About the scheduling of games between UH and USC in 2012 and 2013, JD said:
"We are very close, but I don't have anything I can state just yet. That said, I think an announcement will be forthcoming shortly." (HA)

HA Note: "The 2012 game, listed for Sept. 1 in Los Angeles, would give UH consecutive road games to start the season since the Warriors are already contracted to play Brigham Young in Provo Sept. 8 The 2013 game would give UH a home nonconference lineup that also includes BYU and Army."

About moving the game against Charleston Southern from the 2011 schedule to 9/25/2010, UH associate AD Carl Clapp said:
"It worked for both of us to move them up." (HSB)

HSB Note: "The Warriors open 2010 against USC on Sept. 2 — a Thursday game — followed by at Army on Sept. 11 and at Colorado on Sept. 18. They then face Charleston Southern before starting the WAC season. A home game against UNLV previously set for Sept. 25 will instead serve as Hawaii's regular-season finale Dec. 4."
