Warriors happy to practice in pads yesterday

Happy they were in pads yesterday, Aaron Kia said:
"It felt so good. Letting out some aggression. Kind of bad night at work last night, so I was happy to get out here and bang somebody. I couldn't wait to get out here." (HSB)

About their first practice in pads, Mac said:
"They hustled around and I thought for the first day they were completing passes and (the defensive players were) in position to make plays on passes. I thought they really practiced well. For our first padded practice, we've got a lot of things we have to continue to get better on, but we're miles ahead of where we were last spring." (HSB)

Before team drills, Mac told the team to limit their hitting, saying:
"Only two hand touch." (HSB)

HSB Note: "Linebackers R.J. Kiesel-Kauhane, Brashton Satele and Marc Moody delivered some hard "touches." "

About the hard hits in practice, Mac smiled and said:
"Sometimes they forget." (HSB)
