About the ESPN games scheduled this season, WAC Commissioner Karl Benson said:
"The last five years in the WAC have featured two BCS games, 18 other bowl appearances, and four teams that posted undefeated regular seasons. We are expecting another exciting season in 2009 and are pleased to have ESPN as our television partner." (HA)
