Cory Paredes is happy to be back at LB

About being back at LB after being moved from LB to RB last year, Paredes said:
"I like being physical, so linebacker is fun. I like the mentality of the defense." (HSB)

HSB Note: "Like Smith, Paredes saw most of his action on special teams last year and jumped at the chance to practice with the first team at outside linebacker yesterday morning. Paredes was a two-way player at Castle High, playing both wide receiver and linebacker for the Knights. That versatility came in handy last year when he started the season at linebacker but was moved to offense when injuries left the Warriors thin at running back."

About being moved to RB last season after the Warriors had injuries at RB, Paredes said:
"It wasn't too bad because I was just going with the flow. Wherever coach wanted me, I was just thankful to be helping out the team." (HSB)
