QBs and WRs trying to get in sync
About how the QBs and WRs need to trust each other to get in sync, Ron Lee said:
"I think we're going to be all right as soon as we start trusting each other. (Wednesday and yesterday) they threw the ball to where they were supposed to throw it and the receivers were making the plays. It takes a little bit of time offensively to trust in each other." (HSB)
About how their WRs have been working hard in practice, Bain said:
"Coming off a loss we're just trying to pick ourselves back up. Everybody's been turning it up a notch. We have to have faith in what the coaches have been doing and have faith in each other." (HSB)
About how the WRs have done especially well in practice this week, Ron Lee said:
"I thought they had their best week of practice. ... The guys are all competitive guys, proud guys, and they were bothered by the way they played. So they're anxious." (HSB)
About how Tyler has been getting practice reps and getting up to speed, Ron Lee said that:
"by the time we play Oregon State (next week) he'll be really competitive." (HSB)
Note: Alexander and Tyler have both been getting reps at the #2 QB.
