Mack is back in Oregon

About how the hotel they are staying at is 5 miles from his hometown of Springfield, where he met his wife, Mack said:
"There are a lot of memories around here." (HA)

Mack threw his hands wide and said:
"This was where home was ... until we went to Hawai'i." (HA)

Mack said that he and his wife Heather:
"moved a whole lot of other places, but this was home until Hawai'i." (HA)

Comparing the Weber State win with the Oregon State game on a personal level, Mack said:
"People ask what it was like to win that first game (against Weber State last week). And, I tell them, 'It has been business like usual.' But coming back here with all the memories, it is a little more personal." (HA)

About how Oregon is special to him, Mack said:
"It's a business trip, but Oregon's always been special. It is going to be fun to go back and see some old friends, and I'm proud to take this team into Oregon." (HSB)
