Feature article on Jason Rivers

Happy to be back in Hawaii, Jason Rivers said:
"I'm glad to be home, soaking up the beach as much as I can, trying to surf as much as I can, as much as my wife will let me to get away. I'm liking home right now." (KHNL)

About how he has to work hard to earn a spot in the NFL, Rivers said:
"When you have to work for stuff, it makes it that much more gratifying in the end, you appreciate it more in the end." (KHNL)

KHNL Note: "And work Rivers will have to do. He wasn't drafted, after a solid career with the Warriors, even after his four touchdown, 167 receiving yards performance against Washington on national TV."

About trying to make the Titans as an undrafted free agent, Rivers said:
"My uncle told me, it's not like I've had anything easy in my life anyways. And I appreciate that much more than I appreciate handouts, you know working for what you have and it's just makes it more satisfying." (KHNL)

Feeling confident with his chances, Rivers said:
"Right now I feel pretty confident in where I'm at physically, it's just a matter of keep doing what I've been doing my whole life, as long as I take care of what I can control, everything should fall into place." (KHNL)

KHNL Note: "Rivers reports for the Titans training camp on July 25th in Nashville. "
