Quotes about UH's OL

Praising UH's OL, Mark Richt said:
“You could literally put a clinic on from that group." (scout.com)

“They are textbook in pass protection. When they slide one way or another, it’s like a dance team or something, it’s very well done.” (scout.com)

About how they have just 1 offensive lineman who weighs more than 300 pounds and none are taller than 6'3", JJ said:
“If we were lining up in the I-formation and trying to hand the ball off, obviously (Georgia’s) speed and power would overwhelm us, but because of what we do offensively and (quarterback Colt Brennan’s) quick release, we have a chance.” (scout.com)

Georgia's DL coach Rodney Garner said it shows that UH's OL coach coach Dennis McKnight played OL for 10 years in the NFL:
“I think they are the most athletic offensive line we’ve played, and it shows on film every snap. It’s every single clip, and then you see how hard and physical they play. They are going to get after you. They play with a great tenacity.” (scout.com)

Impressed with his film study of UH's OL, especially of the Alabama game last year, Garner said:
“Some of those things those offensive linemen were doing to their defensive linemen, it gets your attention." (scout.com)

Note: 3 of UH's OL from that game are now in the NFL...UH has a different OL now.

About how their OL didn't play well against Alabama early in that game, reacting poorly to the big stage, JJ said:
“Had we not been a little frozen in the first half, we might have beaten them. Hopefully, that will not happen (in this game).” (scout.com)
