Feature article on UH from the Georgia perspective

AH = Albany Herald

About UH, Georgia coach Mark Richt said:
“The University of Hawaii is undefeated, plain and simple. No one’s beaten them.” (AH)

About how UH is better than people realize, Georgia WR Mohamed Massaquoi said:
“They’re not hyped up. They’re a really good team.” (AH)

About how UH has been able to come back to win games, Richt said:
"A lot of teams have had leads on these guys. But they’ve been resilient.” (AH)

About how Colt is the key to UH's success, Richt said:
“No question, he’s the key. When you first hear about a guy having a lot of numbers, touchdown passes, and yards, you look at him and say, ‘Gosh, he throws it 50, 60 times a game. He oughta have a lot of numbers.’ That’s probably your first impression. But after studying the film, the regular game film and the TV copy, he is really, really good. He’s special.” (AH)

About the Warriors' OL, Richt said that they are:
“… all in sync. When they slide one way or the other. I mean, it’s like a dance team or something.” (AH)

About how he's been learning about UH through tapes of their games, Richt said:
“You get a little better feel for the spirit of the team and the mental toughness and resilience that they have. I watched that Washington game and they’re down, 21-0, then 28-7 about midway through the third and they came roaring back. And it’s almost as if there wasn’t anybody who could do anything about it.” (AH)

About the improved D by UH, Richt said:
“They do fly around the ball. They play full speed, extremely hard. They were, like, 95th in the nation last year in total defense (and) I think this year they’re in the 35 range.” (AH)

About how BSU's win last year helps prevent them from overlooking UH, DE Marcus Howard said:
“I mean, it really helps us knowing Boise beat Oklahoma last year. They’re from the same conference, and we’re not going to take anybody lightly.” (AH)

About how UH has something to prove in this game, Richt said:
“Here is a team that is not playing for the national championship. So they certainly want to prove ... ‘Why can’t we play for the national championship?’ “We have a lot of respect for this team, and we feel it’s going to take everything we have to win it.” (AH)
