Colt voted All-America National Player of the Week

About being named All-America National Player of the Week, Colt said:
"I'm happy. That's what's really cool when the fans vote for you. I got a lot of love from the fans last year. That's really cool, and I appreciate it." (HA)

“It’s a tremendous honor to be recognized among that group of guys. But I realize it’s the beginning of the season and what really matters is the success of the team over individual accomplishments.” (HSB)

HA Note: "Brennan received 45 percent of the votes, besting Appalachian State quarterback Armani Edwards (37 percent)."

About Colt winning the award, JJ said:
"Any honor is a nice honor. Let's hope they keep coming in." (HA)

About how he'd rather win the award after the BSU game, Colt said:
"Right now, we played a Division I-AA. For me, it's nothing to pride myself on or have bragging rights to. Let's move on. I'd rather win that award Thanksgiving weekend." (HA)
